It's totally worth it! Best bang for the buck. I just wish the remote was a little nicer. Heads up for what it doesn't do if your setup resembles mine.
The kinivo works perfectly. It is auto-switching in that it senses whatever port is powered on.
By default auto switch is enabled. Very much appreciated the ability to disable auto-detect mode by holding down the switch button for 8 seconds.

My projector uses dvi (no hdmi) video input and rca audio inputs. Projector was successfully converted using a worthy hdmi to dvi adapter.

All works great auto switch works perfectly swaps to device that has been turned on
The auto switch works great it recognizes when i new device turns on and doesn’t lose signal strength
Remote control doesn’t workthe power off switch doesn’t workthe unit is on all the time
Unfortunately after almost a year and a half of everyday use it had a glitch that caused it not to function properly
Price
I did get another switch box with the inputs and output all along the back for about 10 less happy with both so far
Love it even though it’s kind of expensive
Not a big deal you just have to get used to it

I got in touch with company and after they verified my purchase from amazon they had a brand new one shipped to me in a couple of days
Competitiveness
Using the remote control i can now easily switch between rogers and buzztv
I tried different ports and the default was always to the chromecast
I split the tv box hdmi out with one lead going to kinivo for audio and the other to the projector hdmidvi for a successful video feed

It does have a couple of blue lights at the front that stay on but i dont find them to be too bright and they dont bother me any

So i just covered the switch lights with a piece of glass meshing to solve the issue

The only complaint would be the very cheap feeling and low featured remote but even then it is okay

I had to adjust the power options on my xbox series s to ensure it actually powers off when i turned it off itlld normally just go into a standby mode meaning the switcher would stick detect it as active
