Pros
Red very nicely visible, and low rate displays render nice violets. Product meets its stated purpose and i would recommend to a friend. The lever mechanisms have a good design imo and could be repaired if anything ever broke.
Pin pc fan connector. Bay adapter to fit into desktop case.

Supermicro x10sri-f motherboard (https://www. Supermicro. Com/products/x10sri-f-motherboard. Html) has two sata power ports instead of a combined single port like most other units of this type. Data speed is controlled by the hdd/ssd and motherboard.
The kingwin's perform pretty much identically, probably on account of using the same fan. It's really more about cooling ability and the means of staying within drive specifications. You need to have a bios that supports hot swapping of sata drives.

Per kingwin the sata connector in this dual drive bay is just a wired connection to the external sata connector

Repeat the same thing on the noctua fan so you have the fan and three cables

Theyre 2 each to three machines one set for backup and the other two for easy replacement on zoneminder machines
All 12 drive bays were immediately responsive negotiating at 6gbps sataiii
What i did to change this was buy a noctua nfa8 flx 80mm x 25mm fan a mini micro jst 2
Upon upgrading my sas hba to 6gbps sataiii speeds that 34plan34 fell apart

The original plan was to be able to swap out various versions of linux installed onto various ssds but it turns out that most versions of linux just do not play well with pcs that were born to be windows systems

Summary there are two problems the fan it comes with is loud the fan it comes with is notstandard and is of narrow depth the fan it comes with does not use a typical power connector for the fan

You may want to pull the jacket over the cables and cut the jacket and then pull the nowshorter jacket back
