Pros
It works great on hardwood floor and my short rug. It works well on carpet and laminate floors. The only bad part is that it does not roll around on carpet.
Cons
There has to be a purpose for the gasket. Durability is a huge issue. My dog can not pick up so she just chases it and barks.

The biggest downfall is that the onoff button is on the outside and my puppy keeps accidentally turning it off when she pounces on it
