You must pass the belt through the opening closest to the latch and down through the farthest opening leaving the tail on the outside of the belt for the locking mechanism to work

The one complaint is the clip will not fit through belt loops any of the pants ive tried so far

The belt is a very solidly built web but has no internal or external structure to support it from collapsing when a holster is attached

I like the key holder it came with i dont expect more than a few months out of it the spring mechanism seems to be the likely point of a future failure

The belt is great and high quality but the buckle does not go through the hoops in the pants very easy so its not a casual one

The only down side is that the buckles are too large for the loops in my shorts so it needs to be take apart to loop it through not a big deal
