Pros

The book starts like an absolute thrill ride. From then on it pretty much never stops. As all of the books in this series are written, this is just as beautiful and philosophical.

Sun eater is among my favorite sci-fi series of all time. Feudal dystopian future (challenges dune, but with alien bad guys) just about the most well written contemporary sci-fi ~ ~ in modern american dialect.

Another * from mr. He doesn't spill the story for us, he creates a web. Great artists steal, and you'll find a little bit of lovecraft as well as lucas.

Marlowe is insanely good. For once there is no great hero that ends up on a honeymoon.
