Pros

Ceramic twist-on plug takes two prong halogen bulbs. This dimmer works perfectly with the new led track light fixtures and 6w led bulbs. It is a replacement for the old style similar fixture.

Cons

The back-side metal retaining ring (holds the perforated dome-shape metal shield in place) is flimsy on every unit i received. I order three of these and one does not work, another flickers on and off intermittently.
