Pros

The 3-way splitter at the bottom of the antenna connects your coax lead. The skinny coax lead coming from the splitter goes to the channel finder in the selector box inside on the ceiling of the rv. Works great even from 45 miles to the transmitter.

Worked like a charm. Recieved early today and easy install. Took me longer than expected with the sealing and installation.

Removed old one and caulk. Installed new one and dicor self leveling caulk one tube to seal it. When removing my old omni-directional antenna, the how that was left in my roofing material was rather large due to the self-leveling caulk's adhesion.

Replaced a 2012/2013 version of kingjack antenna atop motorhome with a 2021 version - same model different footprint. Comes with everything you need to replace your existing king with spider feet.

Be sure to measure well your location both inside and outside before drilling. Read the directions several times so as not to screw it up. Take all tools with to avoid going up and down the ladder.

Cons

Quality

Antenna works great order to replace the one i knocked off the camper

Easy installation since i already had an older amplified batwing antenna and didn’t need to run a power line

Due to a poor antenna connector it was totally dead on the first try causing me to remove it a sticky mess and fix the wire

Bolt holes all lined up and it went into place easily

Price

Product is strong but over priced for what it is

This product is worth the price of admission

Packaging/appearance

Be sure to order the base mounting plate and some dicor to seal it

Competitiveness

This replaced the one that came with trailer in 2013 and there is no comparison

Hoping the new design holds up better to rough roads than the last model
