Pros & Cons
Pros
These bulbs really brighten up an otherwise gray oregon winter. Purchased these to replace builder bulbs in the basement. I prefer 6500k daylight bulbs, but these are almost as good for daylight color matching.
Cons
Save your money or splurge for nicer ones. Not recommended. One is so dull i am removing it.
The lumen value is overstated. A 200 watt incandescent bulb generally burns at a whopping 3200-3400 lumens.
The bulbs go on at sunset and shut off at sunrise. The description clearly states they are to be the daylight 5000k but apparently no one knows the difference. Firstly, neither bulb is bright as a100 to 150 watt regular bulb.

Well they are pretty bright but i guess i should have asked before purchasing… not only do they get hot they can not cool in an enclosed fixture so they just burn out…took a couple years but for bulbs that should last more than ten years kinda lame…lesson learned hope this helps anyone looking to purchase
