Pros
Durable, portable and easy to clean. I have a glass topped electric range which are very hard to keep clean.
These placemats are dishwasher safe. They keep play-doh off the table. No slipping or scratching.
These are moisture resistant and waterproof. These are lightweight and flexible. I just wish they were a bit thicker.
Cons
These claim to be dishwasher safe, but mine came out with long tears in the middle of them with brownish burn marks. These are terrible, so thin and flimsy. Not worth the money at all.

The playdoh does stick to the mats which requires a little extra cleaning

Its a little harder to keep messes contained on a mat when transporting to the trashcan etc

I prefer to use a placemat at restaurants and not have kids eating food off the restaurant tables which may not be cleaned well or are cleaned with harmful toxic cleaners

They are definitely very thin and floppy which does make them hard to clean

They also tend to bubble up and i have to smooth them out after laying them down which would be solved by making them a little bit thicker
