I would def buy a size bigger but other than that it is soft and warm its not a real thick jacket but its good for fall and cool weather i washed it and it came out perfect no issues and i just washed it with my other clothes as normal it did not bleed onto the other clothes and it didnt shrink on high heat in the dryer
