Perhaps if they didnt enclose it in a plastic sleeve right after shipping would allow the smell to dissipate by the time it arrives to the consumer

I had to cut a notch out on the upper and lower long part of the holder to make swiping of the notification and control panel easier

When im not using my device zipping it up inside the folio keeps it away from harm

Also this holder does have a kickstand but it only holds the device at about 35 degrees
