Pros

It is not any noisier than other window acs, plus the remote is handy. The remote control has a lot of features to be sure, as does the push button pad on the unit.

A length of foam and the screws were provided to assist with installation. Flush with the window frame, perfect tilt backwards for drainage. Placed upstairs in low sliding window in upstairs bedroom 5 ft from our bed.

Cons

Save yourself the hassle and get something else.

The remote started melting the plastic casing. The windows in the bedroom are much newer than the windows in my office.
