The best way of doing this is to just drill a hole through the wall behind where the display is mounted – if not wall mounting then the sensor cable can just be dangled out of the window as a temporary method

The display is easy to use with four clearly labelled buttons – the first changes the reading from indoors to outside the second resets maxmin the third displays maxmin temperature for the period since the previous reset and button four changes units displayed from °c to °f

This could be a good option if you need a permanently mounted way of checking the weather both in and out – a wireless model would give more flexibility but at a higher price
