Pros & Cons
Pros
Bought to have extras for 2017 silverado. Works for newer chevrolet & gmc vehicles. Loved the quality and this item.
Took to a locksmith. Just had to spend another $175 to get somebody with a computer to program them. Programmer and 3 keys with remote start all for around $100. Programmed by dealer in 15 minutes.
Adding remotes erases preexisting remotes. Are harder than the oem unit but its not a problem.
Cons
Product looks nice but lacks functionality. The * faded out immediately. Just buy oem.
The range is also inconsistent, and i sometimes have to walk up right to the car to unlock it. Does not work on silverado 2017, not even close.
