    Final final edit i was able to get the ramps board and drivers working on a arduino mega clone made by another manufacturer

    First i clipped all the exposed male header pins the metal pins not plastic a few millimeters shorter in case they were coming in contact with stuff on the bottom of the ramps board i then noticed the mosfets on the ramps board were touching each other so i made sure none of them were touching anything

    I then turned off the power waited a few seconds and installed one of the a4988s in the spot for the x motor driver with the potentiometer facing away from the green power connector like every tutorial says to do
