Just received the kettle the designed is exactly what we were looking for and it looks solid not like our previous one

Good looking and boils fastbut this is the second one as the first one has a scratch and second one has a dentcould not be bothered to return as one needs a god cuppaand now it has developed a electrical faultthe power switch keeps tripping out the consumer box plus the led blue indicator light works when it wants todo not recommend this kettle and would not buy anothervery poor show

Not as noisey as previous kettles

The fact that no plastic comes into contact with the boiling water was the most important thing to me

The kettle has some plastic on the handle which stops you from burning your hand when pouring and also comes with a separate plastic lid knob if you prefer but the plastic never comes in contact with the water

The only down point was that the blue led light had stopped working although this did not affect the function of the kettle which continued to work
