Put a little dab of flux on the tab put the solder wire into the flux and touching the tab hit with the soldering iron at about 400 and boom solder starts melting and adhearing to the tab

Allowed me to save a few packs that had a cell go bad or was damaged from droping it on the ground or having a razor blade fall and pucnture a small hole in one of the cells
