Good product overall however because of the square design and short connection the wall opening in the shower tube needs to be expanded to allow the square edges to turn when connecting

The 12 npt threads are too long and also are not tapered as expected for pipe threads

This is not a problem for most people because the square flange will cover up the excess threads but for my installation i needed all the threads to be hidden within the rotary union so that only ss would be visable

I corrected this by using a 12 npt die to recut the threads and then a hacksaw to shorten the threaded portion of the nipple

The 12 npt adapter at the end of the arm uses an oring to seal on the arm

If you try to tighten npt threads by turning the arm the oring will probably be damaged
