Pros

It has a motorized fan, and ventilated side slots. Does exactly what you'd expect but the fan is loud! Put it behind doors/cabinets ect. To keep it at a cool temp.

Great box, very durable. Makes a person think twice about wanting to tamper with your dvr.

Top is removable which makes it easy to mount and load with equipment. Ships with anchors for cement walls. Comes with anchor bolts for conctrete wall mounting.

This lockbox was constructed the same as my previous smaller lockbox but with a larger fan for better cooling. My nvr runs very cool in this configuration. My 16 channel nvr in addition to the ups fits easily inside the lockbox.

Sturdy construction. Material is pretty rugged. Heavy duty enclosure.

Cons

The sides of the lockboxes were not welded. The wires are not secured inside for the fan. It's impossible to hear over so you have to unplug it, leaving the dvr to get hot and overheat.

Yes the fan is darn noisey plus it moves very little air for all that noise

The box was installed and works perfectly

The box was easy to set up there was not much to do

The carriage bolts are selflocking looks nice none snagging and a thief will have a difficult time getting into the box
