Pros & Cons
Pros
Strong enough to support the medium weight curtain in a 36 frame without sagging. It’s the kind that you twist to make it longer or shorter. Easy to install, light weight.
These are a great alternative to installing hardwear and a rod. I use one in my bedroom doorframe.
Cons
This rod is about the width of a pencil. The metal does not connect.
A very lightweight curtain. Sturdiness not. Like the title says, a cheap, truly flimsy product that couldn't hold up a feather.
Highlights
Quality
Perfect size installed easily feels sturdy while extended
It is a great rod and hold its weight and is easy to install
Very easy to twist and untwist and easy to actually put up
Its been up for several months and not moved at all despite out toddler daughter pulling the curtain sides open less than gingerly
Price
Very good little tension rod for the price
It feels a bit flimsy hence the four stars but overall its good for the price point
It did the job i needed it to do and i did not have to spend a fortune
Shipping
The product shipped all right and was not bent when i received it
This was a replacement for the one that was shipped previously
Competitiveness
These rods are better than what i used to buy at department stores

This type of rod isn’t designed to hold heavy curtains or curtains that will be opened and closed often

If the curtains will be opened hang them from rings that will slide across the rod or better yet use a screwedtothewall rod

I use very long but very light weight curtains in these areas

That one falls way more often as the curtain is heavy and sometimes im rushing out the door
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
It doesnt fall on its own from the weight of the curtain but i think the curtain weight contributes to its fall when i step or tank on it
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Id say its fallen about 10 times in the past year

Most of them were from my partner who doesnt always notice fragile things and his two insane dogs coming over and jumping on it

The tall curtains have only called a few times when i step on the or manipulate them too much which is good because i have to get on a ladder to put those back up
