You have to undo the ends and move a piece to the inside to screw the rod into place

I expected the rods to be thicker but the description clearly states 58 diameter so thats my fault

For people saying the rod slides i had that same issue only to find out i assembled them incorrectly

The end caps are not big but i did not want that type of look

Also the rods separate easily if you have pocket curtains as opposed to grommets so something like clear tape or glue around the joint would help to avoid that since there isnt anything to help secure the two ends of the rods together
