Pros
Bought this * of the kenmore brand name and never disapointed. This is exactly what i wanter except it is a bit too heavy for me. It’s not flimsy and cheap.
It's lightweight and the suction is great. When set on high, this vacuum has tremendous suction. Easy to story with hose and power head connecting to the base.
This vacuum cleaner has everything that i was looking for. It does a fantastic job at removing the dust. The motor is quiet compared to my old bissel.
Cons
Whomever designed this thing is a *. It currently sits in my spare room unused.
Hand grip is odd, causing a hand cramp after a only a few minutes. The wand refuses to lock into to the powermate. Accessories no longer connect on the rod properly.
The vacuum is way overpriced for its quality. Tubes are no longer stainless, but some cheaper aluminum type tube. As you know it is not cheap but cheaply made.
The button on the top of the canister that opens the floor brush compartment is so touchy that even the slightest bump when you're carrying the vacuum will pop open the door. The units run time per floor is equal.

Purchased open box and it arrived in perfect condition
I just received my new vacuum yesterday and immediately opened the box put it together and vacuumed my whole upper floor
My expectations after reading it were no met when i opened the box
Competitiveness
Our last vac was a meile and this kenmore is hands down is better than the meile and the best vac we have ever owned
Kenmore has always been the best vacuum on the market
For the price i would put this cleaner against any of the other leading brands
I bought a dyson to replace it but does not compare
