My son loves this. He's 4 years old 50% for weight, and 89% for height and he's the perfect size for this with just a little room to grow. He's used our sleeping bags in the past, but this is the first one we've seen that is just his size and it makes him feel so independent and grown up, and I'm not worried about a ton of extra fabric for him to get tangled in or muffled by during his inevitable rollicking sleep. Warm enough for sleeping on a cool spring campout but not so warm that you couldn't use it in the summer either. Great quality, easy zippers for a 4 year old to manipulate, soft, cozy, easy to clean and washes well. Total win in my book.   Read Less

I have two little boys and we enjoy backyard camping adventures reading stories, cooking smores in our firepit, and sleeping in our five-man tent. My 3-year-old typically uses the Kelty Woobie Sleeping Bag and loves it!We managed to get in one backyard camping adventure this Spring on a relatively cool night but the weather is too hot in our area to really put the Woobie to the test. Still, this bag is a comfortable, well-insulated sleeping bag with a fun dinosaur interior liner that my little guy loves. The dual zippered design is fantastic meaning that on warmer nights we can flip the top of the bag down and my son can just use the sleeping bag as a sleeping pad of sorts.This sleeping bag is made from a relatively smooth polyester shell which is also used on the inner liner. From my inspection of the bag, stitching, zippers, and materials look up to the job for many years of use.I'll go ahead and comment that even though my 3-year-old is using this bag, it's plenty big enough for my 5-year-old. I'd expect my 5-year-old to be able to use this bag for another couple years. So in other words, unless your kids are at the top of the growth/weight charts this bag is suitable for 5+-year-olds.Cool bag, recommended!   Read Less
