I have this hooked up to a longer wire so it doesnt have to be tied to an extremely short barrel adapter wire
I noticed the the laptop internal center pin was smaller so the new connector never made contact

The female center pin connection could be a different design such as double pins on the inside could be closer

I had tried the initial 2 amp version with the same fix but the current capacity was not sufficient and the connector wir got really warm
