I didnt even need an adapter it screwed right on mine and the boot snapped right up to it

It was a twist on i found my dodge avenger 2013 was a clip on and my stick was pretty skinny so i just bought an adaptor here’s the link

Bit only after two times driving the hilt black threads slid down and exposed the red underneath all the way

I simply used one metal and one rubber washer to basically pressure lock it into place and i think once i did that ive had to adjust it maybe twice in all that time
