Added this to my pelican 10' sit on top kayak. Used a jbweld plastic epoxy mix and rivets. I'm literally one trip in the springs new to kayaking, so i might be talking out the side of my neck.
Cons
It's difficult to attach it to even a gently curved surface, as the base is flat. Fell off 30 seconds of its first use.

I don’t use this kayak very much so installing the fin would most likely become easier with practice and trying to figure out a better tech
