I purchased an aftermarket belt and it didnt work i thought i had other issues

Even resetting the belt switch in the cover didnt work and as i stepped back to look at it i realized it had not been touched in the first place

There is an automatic belt light that comes on every 100 miles that needs to be reset it is to remind you to check the belt for wear and to properly shim your sheaves if the belt is too low
