This book is so well written and includes plenty of basic info. I think that this book is great for any beginner. The book is gorgeous!
A great resource if you love to crochet amigurumi. Included a bonus of stitch descriptions along with some general crochet design tips. Added a rattle to the crocheted baby bottle as a baby gift!

Seems to me if you are going to publish a crochet book that uses a brand, type, and color of specific yarn that the author or publisher would reach out and negotiate a package deal with the yarn manufacturer.

Normally amigurumi books are arranged by type of pattern for example food patterns animal patterns etc

There is also a section in the back of the book with basic crochet howto instructions but if youre picking up this book you probably already know how to crochet

The book advertises 40 amigurumi patterns and sure there are 40 patterns listed here but some of them are basically the same thing with a few small tweaks

For example there are multiple patterns of ice cream cones and popsicles and the only thing that makes them different is using a different yarn color adding a different little decoration on top etc
