If you watch the short instructional videos on youtube provided by kavaj it shows you how to work the leather so that all the ports line up the power button is not compressed by the leather seam and how to crease the front flap so that it will prop up the unit when in landscape mode

The lip deflects the sound away from you so the sound output is muffled just a tad

Being picky i spent nearly a month deciding which way to go some cases were too bulky others were made of cheap materials like plastic and vinyl
