Pros & Cons
Pros
I wish the tightening screw had a hex cut so that i can use a wrench to loosen the bit. They are fairly hard to get tight but loosen up a bit once the junk protective is cleaned off.
Great product and build quality. They are quite well made for the price.
Cons
They were seized up, as if the threads weren't cut right. Poorly machined, terrible clamping.
The inner portion that * onto the cutting tap also has no clamp to clamp onto the square portion of the tap. The tightening nut is smooth with the textured grips recessed into the nut, this make gripping the nut to tighten by hand nearly impossible.
Highlights
Quality
I am impressed with the quality and sturdiness of these thandle tap wrenches
But overall a great product and build quality
You can’t expect sterrett quality for an overseaprice
I cant help but to believe that even with the knurl in the right place i still would have had to use pliers to tighten it
Packaging/appearance
I am 68 years old so i doubt i would have had the the strength to do this without pliers
