Product is too watery. Maybe for something inconspicuous that won’t be looked at closely. It shrinks as it cures and never quite hardens. This is not a filler it’s only paint.

The product dries quickly so it is possible i did not need to wait 2 hours between coats but i wanted to make sure each coat was dry

You do not need to purchase wood putty to fill the gouge and then use this product
