Its not very large and there is really no way our cats would attempt to crawl under it into the open area it would just be too tight of a fit

I have them arranged like stairs and a platform under the upstairs hall windows and the cats love scratching climbing and sitting on them to look out the window

The extra zigzag i have sitting on a half wall near the living room so they can use it as an extra step to get to the top of the display case and to the upper window

I would give this 5 points but with 12 cats using it it gets quite a workout daily but i will say i have yet to have to vacuum up any errant pieces of cardboard that you find with the cheapy throwaway scratchers
