Pros

Sniffed around online and found these, and ordered 2 from amazon. This beater is awesome. Works incredibly well.

Mesh, mylar, or rubber head drum beaters work great. They are not only quieter but they rebound better and improved my speed and feel. They diminish the harshness of the attack by a huge amount, making things absolutely bearable.

Great choice for edrums - they almost look and feel like a smaller tougher tennis ball. Gives it the proper rebound of an acoustic kick. Definitely reduced the noise on the kick pad. Excellent bounce and feel.

Evans hydraulic batter heads in conjunction with remo *'ls for the batter heads. Works great with my yamaha kp65 kick pad.

Cons

Too much mass and not enough focused weight to feel right for me. Not keeping it.
