This is the best it could do after subtracting/adding shims. Extra braid spool a very nice bonus. Comes with a braided & mono spool.

The reel is light and has very smooth retrieval. It's pretty smooth and quiet. Reel looks solid and very smooth, lightweight.

Kastking makes some of the most affordable and badass fishing equipment and gear. The only concern i have is it's long term durability. Great value. Happy with both. Good for bf's too.

Reels get very light usage, and they get hosed down with fresh water every trip. Not recommended for real saltwater fishing. Dont bother trying to do any preventative maintenance because its impossible.

To test that theory when i returned from my last saltwater trip all i did was rinse mine really good with the water hose and hang it up

I go for the blue cats and using 60lb braid
