Pros
First night out with the new rod and managed to catch some smallmouth and rock bass. Perigee mh is also brilliant for bass. Can feel the slightest bites and never have a problem landing bass and crappie.
I was overwhelmed by the quality, style, and durability of this rod. I was intrigued by the new eyelet design. The only thing i didn't like is the location of the hook holder.
It feels natural to use. It's very aesthetically pleasing. Kastking continues to impress me.
The casting is extremely smooth. Everything from the feel of the rod to how well it paired with my reel everything about this rod is amazing.
The handling/packing was so carefully done. The rod was packed inside of a tube case, and then packed in a box. The name kastking kept coming out as the ones with great quality, and superb products.
Cons
Kastking's warranty policy is absolute trash, they want you to send $20 for shipping and handling, and only if they determine they were at fault. Not worth it. Very disappointed.

I kept the shipping tube which the rod came in and i use it to transport two rods back and forth from fishing trips to protect them

I was impressed with the packaging and shipping materials
This is as light as a carrot stik or ducket and the solid tube packaging it came in should be the industry standard for shipping
Competitiveness
I will surely be purchasing more kastking products
I highly recommend buying this rod and while you’re at it pick up a kastking spinning or bait casting reel
The grips are cool but as a golfer i must say these are not golf club grips
Using 30lb braid with 10lb flouro leader on it with a double uni knot
