Pros
The setup process is simple. The bulbs are 1w leds and there are 96 ( 4 strings of 24 bulbs each) of them. I schedule my lights to fade in after sunset, which looks really nice.
The kasa app is very intuitive. It works out of the box with a 2. Ghz wi-fi connection. The app enables you to set a schedule on/off.
Cons
The plug is not compatible with the smartlife app. It will not connect to a passwordless wifi network. Kasa requires users to download their app.

I have two of these and both will periodically lose the wifi connection and have to be power cycled
The cord has two outlets at end of cord that my device is plugged into while the power end piece is plugged into the wall outlet

There are not a ton of features but it is surprising that there are more than i expected for the price

Just received this product in order to set my outdoor string lights up on a schedule
Packaging/appearance
The product inside the box was received unwrapped the wrapping was crumpled inside the box and the box was not sealed
Competitiveness
It was easy to integrate into the kasa app with which i was already familiar and it works perfectly with alexa
I have a few other products of kasa
I do not find any lag or delayed compared to other cheaper brands even with it being far from wifi router

Kasa does not have an indoor dimmer plug but this one was advertised as being a dimmer
