Pros

This works perfectly for leveling fence posts. The included strap seems a little flimsy but actually has lasted four years. Frankly, this is the way to go if you want posts to sit plumb.

Apologies for the sideways pics. Still looks like new.

Good tool for the home handyman.

Cons

When you tighten the strap, the level tries to close and does not read plumb in either direction. The strap wears out and must be replaced. The band always falls off too.

As is, not usable as a no-hands level. Stick with a solid post level. It's useless until you glue it.

Home depot sells these for the same price, but with a much more lenient return policy and you can examine them before you buy them. Not worth the extra price. Would not buy again. Nt worth it.

The adjustable angle is unreliable. The weak hinge makes this very inaccurate.
