I was ready to return them but then i realize that the sound was caused by my wifi router being too close to the main speaker as soon as i moved it away just a dozen inches further away the interference stopped

The only problem is that in low volume situations the powered speaker channel starts cutting out so i have to boost the volume to get it to come alive again

I can have my computer and console connected to the 2 optical outputs while my smart phone can be connected via bluetooth

I must add too that because i had purchased these well before christmas amazon would not accept an exchange or return for the damaged speakers
