Build is subpar, but acceptable for the price. High end vocals seem truncated, almost like part of the vocal range is missing. These things turn off when not receiving sound and take a good 5 seconds to boot up.

While they sounded pretty good out of the box they really started to open up once i applied some eq settings on the computer and found the right balance between the preamps volume control and the speakers builtin volume control

So i came across kanto yu shelf speakers which has top of the line aptx bluetooth standby mode has wires between speakers for better connection and is recommended for smartphones
