I wear a size 9 and have been able to put these size 9 boots on over heavy hand knitted wool socks for a good but not tight fit

Maybe a 12 bigger would have been better due to thicker socks

Love these boots for slipping on and running errands or wearing between my car and work i cant say that my feet feel extremely warm in them but my feet are also cold all the time anyway so i cant say thats a result of the boot itself

I agree with the other folks who said the shaft of the boot is somewhat narrow
