Pros & Cons
Pros
Warm, especially with a pair of wool socks. They are also comfortable, as i am told by my supremely picky and sensitive 8 year old. My kids' feet are always dry, and they haven't once complained of cold toes-- and my boys love a puddle of slush.
Kamik is a quality brand and if you need boots for cold weather, this is definitely a good go to for your kids. Pricing is right in line with other alternatives out there. Good but not super resistant to a mn winter. Tested in 1st snow storm today in ... Read More
Best feature is probably the removable liner. Fit as expected. Only caveat—i always order a size up (occasionally two if i sense a growth spurt) the removable lining is great.
They are truly and sincerely waterproof. They’re one piece, solid rubber with no seams, so there’s nowhere for water to leak in.
Cons
These boots are not waterproof. Due to the wetness, the liners need to be pulled out daily. Without the liner the size we ordered is much too big.
Highlights
Quality
These are made from quality material but also have the flexibility for small human legs to move in
The first barrier is good winter pants with the elastic and water proof legs that wrap on top of the boot
Bonus—when the boot becomes too small with the insulated liner take it out and keep using them as rain boots
5 hours with the temp in the twenties fahrenheit with snow on the ground
Competitiveness
This is the second time i purchased kamik boots and i would buy them again

I bought these as an item that had been returned to amazon and i very nearly returned them myself because they were uncomfortable when my 10 year old tried them on

Then we tried pulling the lining out and putting the lining on his foot like a sock over his socks before pulling the boot on and that worked

The lining can bunch up if its not taken out first which is what makes them uncomfortable

These look like they are good durable boots however mine came covered in dirt and dust and the heels are scuffed
