Pros & Cons
Pros
I have a breakdown light travel rod from kalex and it is excellent. Great product- superior spinning and casting. This rod is fantastic!
The medium 7' has lots of parabolic movement and at the base has a sturdy backbone. The graphite used in the shaft is light but strong. Very lightweight but sturdy.
It’s very fast, as you might expect, and rewards a more precise casting style than does a softer rod. This rod could be used with an open face, or spin cast for bass.
Handled a 6lb bass no prob. Lightweight and very easy to string and attach the reel. Can also be used with a zebco reel to pull up brim or white perch.
The guides are stainless with titanium oxide inserts. The eyelets are attached and well constructed. Made with great material and with fuji eye inserts, very nice.
Cons
Looks good but is very cheap/ineffective. And then in broke within a year. Scrapped after 1st day.

Packaging/appearance
Rod was very well packaged hard cardboard tube inside a box used only for a short time but it feels good and works well
It comes in a large tube well protected
Imagine like a poster coming to you rolled up that is how mine came
Im very curious how the medium action 66 or the medium heavy 7 would compare to my reela on packaging btw
