Pros
The plastic ukulele is great for a beginner to learn on. It takes a few days for the strings to stretch out properly. Kala has a great app that teaches and has a digital tuner on it.
Great product. Sound quality outstanding for the price. Update cont. Wisely, and successfully.
The kala line is inexpensive, durable, and glows in the dark. Yes, it glows. The glow in thedark aspect makes for a great conversation piece.

Cons
The saddle and bridge are a molded piece of plastic, and are not serviceable. The action on the first fret is also uncomfortably high. It needs to be tuned constantly, which is hard for my kiddo.
