Pros & Cons
Pros
Purchased for my hermit *. One of my rescues is a gulper and he never chews raw meaty bones enough for me to feel safe feeding them.
Bonemeal powder is an essential ingredient. It is very difficult to find pure bone meal without flavorings. You can make toothpaste without all the fluoride and other yucky stuff.
Cons
One well packed teaspoon of the powder equals only 3. The phosphorus content is high and meats and other foods are generally higher in phosphorus than calcium. Taking in more calcium then what you should can be counterproductive.
