The main difference is that the transparent part of the bulb in the cool white color is a soft silicone material

The cool white bulbs are also dimmablei initially installed the warm white bulbs in one fixture while keeping the old xenons in the other

Then i took off the xenons and put in the cool white

To my surprise the warm leds which looked natural while vs the xenons now looked very yellow

If you like a cooler shade and or want a dimmable bulb go with the cool white
