Pros

The antanna works great to pick up more fm stations. Noaa weather band reception is amazing. I miss the analog tuning dial.

Display is bright and clear with controls for contrast and brightness. Flashlight is good, enough for help in a *. Weather alert is just icing on the cake.

Kaito ka900 voyager max adds shortwave and stereo functionality to the existing ka700 platform. Speaker audio is superb, the stereo separation is clear and well defined.

The new flagship portable emergency radio by kaito. It is sleek and very portable. It also seems to be very durable.

Cons

The flashlight works, lcd and radio is dead. Its dark color design without lighted on/off switch makes it very challenging for operation in darkness.

It's very tippy when standing up. That means, when it breaks, it will be difficult or impossible to replace. If it falls on the floor just the heft and feel makes me think it'll be lucky to still work.
