This little juicer is the best manual juicer that i know of. It is not too big (as many juicers are) and cleans easily. Extraction is near 100%.
Hefty and grips to couter to hold in place.
It is wonderfully efficient and really squeezes out each grapefruit fully. It scrapes the inside of the grapefruit rind but good.
Cons
The juice reservoir is too small to hold the juice from 1/2 of one medium-sized grapefruit. One medium-size grapefruit is about the size of an apple.

You could buy a cheap electric juicer for almost the same pricethe dish holds almost 34c of juice before running over
A chinese knockoff would be six bucks sure but it would look and work like a cheap gadget too

I thought this was plastic so was surprised when i opened the package and saw it was porcelain
Not to mention it just looks great on the counter

It was so much better than the glass juicer that i went ahead and ordered the kai
I juice primarily navel oranges for which the kai is definitely superior
Ive used one or both daily and also have used a traditional glass juicer for comparison
