Pros

Yes they are a little pricey but it will pay for itself in time. Other than the absolute nightmare it took to get it here cause of it getting lost by the carriers the first time, i love it.

They're just as quiet as the old paper filters allowing enough air flow but not overly restrictive. Going to keep an eye on the remaining filter life and use low water pressure to rinse. I use k&n filters for everything they make a filter for.

Cons

Buyer beware you can burn out your $800. For the high price, they should be better sized.

Air rushes in from the sides and gets very noisy. It drops when the furnace turns off with a little clunk.

The insides of the pleating hold lint that is not removed during the recommended cleaning process. This problem only gets worse with each day of use as it clogs with lent.

I would replace my old style furnaceair conditioner filter every three months at a cost of 15 each that’s 60 a year

The cost for 4 air filters is around 45 so it will definitely help me save

I had to wait over 30 days cause i was waiting for the other one to get here
