Pros
The sizing fits as expected and the overall performance seems to be good to capture dander, lint, dust and all the normal crud you want a furnace filter to catch. The 20 x 25 x 1 size is also quite standard.
It effectively captures and holds onto the contaminants, preventing them from recirculating in the air. Its solid construction, efficient filtration, and environmental benefits make it a standout choice.
The build quality of the hvc-12025 is excellent. Other than the rattle, i have no complaints. I added stirfoam peice to stop rattle on mine.
Cons
Get basic fiberglass or pleated air filters. This is a very expensive filter and nowhere did it claim it would block airflow on ac unit. It says 20x24 but it's too small. That is all a crock pour choice for what they charge!

It had a plastic frame plastic grid then another plastic layer over foam
Unlike disposable filters which need to be replaced every few months the hvc12025 can be cleaned and reused repeatedly

The required liquid cleaner is much cheaper on the kn website than amazon

Good packaging good product just dropped in have no other comment to make have not seen it do anything yet but all seems great
