Unfortunately first thing he did was rip through all the black plastic coating on the wire

Luckily he could not get through the metal wrap under the black wrap but the metal does not go all the way up to the top and he almost got through the wires themselves

Our birds use this perch year round we just unplug it in the summer so it wont heat up
